Overall the experience was adequate. This is the first time I have rented storage. I started as make space was just taking over. The hours for the gate were less than convenient. Then it was 8-6 I believe. The addition of the app was nice except when your phone won't connect to the gate Saturday afternoon and Noone answers the phone! I left a message on the answering machine and never did receive a follow up call. I eventually got out almost 30 mins later! This is a great place if you plan to access your unit midsummer! In the winter even they are thoughtful enough to call Mon at 11am on the day your scheduled to move out and let you know they are doubtful you can access your unit and they are currently at the other location moving snow. Handy when you live several hours away and the storm ended Sat. We shoveled what we needed to at 2pm to gain access. In spring melt and during wet periods don't go if you have a small car. At the ends of the buildings where you drive are super soft and often rutted up good. The price increases are regular and steep. I think I was close a solid $50/mth above what I was originally paying in 2023 even though the temps in the unit are much less regulated. My Christmas decorations and furniture had a musty smell and had it was clear the Christmas stuff had been exposed to humidity. Some furniture that never left the unit also showed exposure to humidity. I originally had stored stuff that couldn't freeze there but wasn't comfortable at the end. If you have your payment scheduled regularly be prepared for emails stating payment wasn't made on time if it went thru on a weekend. When I called he just hadn't entered it yet but was there. More of a 2.5 star rating.

I highly recommend this service. The gentlemen responded to my questions quickly. The instructions were clear and everything was automated. It was very easy to drop off and pick up my stuff. I would definitely use this service again!

Cannot use Bluetooth to open gate without data or internet which makes it hard, especially if you don't have the key fob to open the gate. Key fob is also finicky and doesn't work as it should. But other then that. I've had a great experience both times I've used Make Space Storage. Very good and quick to respond to any issues that come up! Good price for various sizes of units and good security. Lots of cameras on lot.
